CGC’s Owner, Stuart Colvin, is a certified Maryland Inspector for properties and homes. Where most inspectors only complete the certified inspection course, Stuart has additional knowledge base and experience as a builder/remodeler and structural designer. CGC Builders Home Inspections are accurate, thorough, and reliable.  We are fully insured, and follow all State required building codes, ethic standards and safety guidelines.  

We offer the following types of inspection services...

• Home Inspections on new or pre-owned/resale homes.
• Property Inspections for new lots or properties- Consulting services that will assist you with understanding what the land development process will entail for building/developing.
• Feasibility Studies -New homes or remodeling studies which include notes, photos, and estimated information.
•  Design/Build Consulting- This is for Customers who are thinking of embarking on a new project in remodeling or construction.
• Energy Audits- All inspections are completed by a certified Energy Star Inspector. They will provide you with information on how to save energy and be cost effective.
• Construction Management Program- Consulting services for self-managing Homeowners in need of guidance for their building project.
